Staffed 360 video booth hire in Bristol

V360 Video Booth is Bristol's number 1 dedicated 360 video booth. A 360 video booth is a platform with a camera on a rotating arm. Guests step onto the platform, the platform does not spin and the camera circles them while it records a 26-second clip. The clip plays at normal speed, then in slow motion and then in reverse in a boomerang style, framed on the top half of the body. More is in what is a 360 video booth.

Where travel is free

Travel is free across Bristol and Thornbury, as well as South Wales and West Wales. It is not free to Weston-super-Mare, Nailsea, Keynsham, Yate or Long Ashton. Travel outside the free area varies, so it is quoted on request. If your venue is in one of those places, contact V360 Video Booth for a travel quote. Town by town coverage is on areas we cover. Bristol venues

V360 Video Booth has provided 360 video booth hire at DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre for weddings and events. Other venues V360 has worked at are on venues we've worked at. If your venue is not listed, that does not mean the booth will not fit. About a fortnight before the event the team contacts your venue to agree the space, so you do not have to measure the room yourself. The room check is in is my venue suitable for a 360 video booth.

How the booking runs

About a fortnight before the event the team contacts your venue to agree the space, so you do not have to chase it. On the day the operator or operators arrive one hour before your start time and set up discreetly. The booth is cordoned with stanchions so people stay at a safe distance from the camera arm.

When the booth opens, the operator guides each group onto the platform, positions them and positions the camera for every person. The ring lights and the room lighting keep everyone well framed and well lit. Guests are encouraged to dance, look for the camera and pose while the camera rotates around them. The platform does not spin and guests do not turn with the camera. Each clip is 26 seconds long and plays at normal speed, then in slow motion and then in reverse. When the rotation stops, guests are helped down and shown their video at the sharing station. After your end time the team takes around 45 minutes to an hour to break down. The full running order is in what happens on the night with a staffed 360 video booth.

Small booth or large booth

  • Small booth. A 1.5 m by 1.5 m platform for up to 2 people at a time, run by one operator.
  • Large booth. A 2.5 m by 2.5 m platform for up to 4 people at a time, run by two operators because there are more people to manage.

Both need about half a metre around the booth so the camera arm can rotate safely, a solid even floor and a power plug or other power source. Wifi is not required. The full comparison is in small or large 360 video booth and the footprint detail is in how much space a 360 video booth needs.

A marquee is fine. Keep direct sunlight off the booth, because it overexposes guests on the video. Indoors, if the only space is in front of a window, V360 has blackout covers.

V360 Video Booth is fully insured, all electrical equipment is PAT tested and risk assessments are available on request. If anyone needs wheelchair access to the booth, say so when you book and it can be arranged.

Song, overlay and props

One song plays on every video from the booking. Song choice and a text or logo overlay are included with Silver and Gold, so on those packages you choose the song and the 26-second section of it you want. On Paper and Bronze V360 chooses an appropriate on-theme popular song. If you want your own song on Paper or Bronze, add the Custom Music Overlay for £20. A text or logo overlay on Paper or Bronze is also £20 with the Custom Text or Logo Overlay. For text, send the exact wording and spelling. For a logo, send a transparent PNG.

Custom props are available with the Bespoke Themed Prop Package: 10 custom pieces for £75 on top of the standard props, for any package, booth size or theme. Book them at least 4 months ahead. More is in personalising your 360 booth videos.

Your videos

Guests download their own clip at the video sharing station on the night by AirDrop, a QR code, SMS or email. Their phone is not used to record. About 12 hours after the booking ends you are emailed a web gallery of every video plus a shared Google Drive folder for a bulk download. Both stay available for six months and no USB is needed. Delivery is covered in how do we get our 360 booth videos.
