Why book a 360 video booth for a corporate event?

A staffed V360 Video Booth gives your team or guests a shared moment and puts your logo on every video they download and share. Your staff do not have to run it.

A 360 video booth works at a corporate event because it gives people a shared moment and gives the company something to show for it. A V360 Video Booth is staffed, so your organisers and your team are not pulled away to host it. On Silver and Gold packages your logo or event name goes on every video, so every clip guests download and share carries your brand.

Why it works for a company event

Company events bring together people who may only know each other by email. Standing around with a drink does not always break the ice. The booth gives colleagues a quick, light thing to do together. They step onto the platform in twos or fours, the operator gets them moving and they come away laughing with a clip.

For the organiser, the booth is easy to plan. It is staffed from setup to pack-down, it does not need venue wifi and the team agrees the space directly with the venue. Your role on the day is to enjoy the event.

Your brand on every video

A text or logo overlay is included with Silver and Gold. On Paper and Bronze it is a £20 add-on with the Custom Text or Logo Overlay. One overlay goes on every video from the booking. That could be:

  • your company logo
  • the event name or a campaign line
  • a hashtag for the event

For a logo, send a transparent PNG. For text, send the exact wording and spelling. Because the overlay is on every clip, every video a guest saves at the sharing station or the team shares afterwards shows your brand.

On Silver and Gold you also choose the song and the 26-second section of it. On Paper and Bronze V360 chooses an appropriate on-theme popular song unless you add the Custom Music Overlay for £20. One song plays on every video. More is in personalising your 360 booth videos.

How the event runs

About a fortnight before the event the team contacts the venue to agree the space. On the day the operator or operators arrive one hour before your start time and set up discreetly, so the booth is ready before guests arrive. The booth is cordoned with stanchions so people stay at a safe distance from the camera arm.

When the booth opens, the operator guides each group onto the platform, positions them and positions the camera for every person. Guests are encouraged to dance, look for the camera and pose while the camera rotates around them. The platform does not spin. Afterwards they are shown their video at the sharing station and helped to download it by AirDrop, a QR code, SMS or email. After your end time the team takes around 45 minutes to an hour to break down. The full running order is in what happens on the night with a staffed 360 video booth.

Small booth or large booth

  • Small booth. A 1.5 m by 1.5 m platform for up to 2 people at a time, run by one operator.
  • Large booth. A 2.5 m by 2.5 m platform for up to 4 people at a time, run by two operators because there are more people to manage.

Both need about half a metre around the booth so the camera arm can rotate safely, a solid even floor and a power plug or other power source. Wifi is not required. The full comparison is in small or large 360 video booth and the footprint detail is in how much space a 360 video booth needs.

For a busy staff party where teams want to step up together, the large booth takes up to 4 people at a time with two operators. For a smaller room or a reception area, the small booth fits a 1.5 m square.

Props for a company event

Every booking comes with a standard set of high-quality props. If the event has a theme, such as a company colour scheme or a themed party night, custom props are £75 for 10 pieces on top of the standard props with the Bespoke Themed Prop Package. Book them at least 4 months ahead. For a Christmas party the festive props come as standard.

Your videos after the event

Guests download their own clip at the video sharing station on the night by AirDrop, a QR code, SMS or email. Their phone is not used to record. About 12 hours after the booking ends you are emailed a web gallery of every video plus a shared Google Drive folder for a bulk download. Both stay available for six months and no USB is needed. Delivery is covered in how do we get our 360 booth videos.

The gallery link can be shared with anyone, which makes it simple to pass the videos to your internal communications team or to the people who attended.
