A 360 video booth is a staffed platform guests step onto while a camera on an arm circles them and records a video. They watch that video at the sharing station and can take it home before they rejoin the party. Later the client receives a gallery of every video from the booking. V360 Video Booth is that service. It is hired with an operator. It is not a machine left in the corner for guests to run.
How a spin works
Guests step onto the platform. The operator has already positioned them and set the camera for that group. The arm then rotates. The camera circles the people on the platform and records a video as it goes. It is not a still photograph and the camera does not stay fixed in front of one face.
When the rotation stops the group steps down and the clip is ready at the sharing station. The next group is brought on in the same way. A speech is not required. People are encouraged to dance, look for the camera and pose. Nobody from the party has to start the camera.
What the operator does
On a small booth one operator does every job because it is a two-person booth. On a large booth there are two operators because there are more people to manage. Either way the work with each group is the same.
The operator guides guests on and positions them. They explain how the booth works and how to get the best videos. They position the camera for every person. They frame and light the group with the ring lights and the room lighting. They encourage people to dance, look for the camera and pose. After the camera has circled them they help the group down, show the video at the sharing station and help with the download by AirDrop, a QR code, SMS or email.
The booth is cordoned with stanchions so people waiting stay at a safe distance while the arm rotates. V360 brings its own prop table.
The small booth and the large booth
The small platform is 1.5 m by 1.5 m with one operator. The large platform is 2.5 m by 2.5 m with two operators. The camera rotates and circles the guests on both. A 360 photo booth is a different thing
People sometimes use the words 360 photo booth for a pod that prints or displays a still and is often left for guests to use on their own. That is not this service. V360 records a circling video. Operators run the booth from the moment guests step up to the moment they have the clip. You are not booking an unattended photo pod and you are not being handed a camera to operate yourself.
What you need on site
The venue needs a power plug or other power source and a solid even floor. The arm must rotate at a safe distance from guests who are not using the booth. Wifi is not required. A marquee is fine. The issue outdoors is keeping direct sunlight off the booth because the sun overexposes guests on the video. Indoors, if the booth is placed in front of a window, V360 has blackout covers.
About a fortnight before the event the team contacts the venue and agrees the space. On the day the operator or operators arrive one hour before the start and set up discreetly. After the end time they take 45 minutes to an hour to break down.

What you receive afterwards
On the night each group can leave with their own video from the sharing station. About 12 hours after the booking ends the client gets an email with a web gallery of every video. You can watch them, download one by one and share the link. The email also includes a Google Drive folder for a bulk download. The gallery is for watching and passing a link on. The Drive folder is for taking the full set.
