At a wedding the practical time for a V360 Video Booth is the evening party, once the formal photographs are done and the speeches are over. The booth is staffed, so the couple does not run it and the photographer is not asked to host a second queue. The operator or operators arrive one hour before the booked start and set up discreetly. You choose the window and V360 runs it.
Ceremony, speeches and the party
Leave the ceremony clear. The meal and the speeches should stay clear too: people are seated and a queue through those minutes fights the run sheet. The evening party is the slot that fits. Evening guests are in, the formal photographs are done and people can step away for a clip. If the photographer is still there, agree when the booth opens so nobody is called twice. If you want an earlier reception slot, say so when you enquire. The wider guide is 360 video booth hire for weddings.
The couple does not host it
You should not be introducing the booth between greetings. A small booth is a two-person booth with one operator who does everything. It holds up to 2 people at a time. A large booth holds up to 4 people at a time and the booking has two operators because there are more people to manage. The difference is set out in small or large 360 video booth. Neither booking asks the wedding party to run the booth.
About a fortnight before the wedding the team contacts the venue to settle on a space allocated for the booth. You do not have to chase the venue. On the day the team arrives one hour before the booked start time and sets the booth up discreetly. If your start is the evening party, that hour is before guests are using the booth.
With each group the operator guides people on, positions them and explains how to get the best videos. The camera is positioned for every person and the ring lights plus the room lighting are used so the group is well framed and well lit. Guests are encouraged to dance, look for the camera and pose while the camera rotates and circles them. When the rotation stops they are helped down, shown the video at the video sharing station and helped to download it by AirDrop, a QR code, SMS or email. The full evening, including pack-down, is in what happens on the night with a staffed 360 video booth.
The photographer
The booth only clashes with the photographer if both want the same people at the same minute. Book it for when the formal pictures are finished or for a time you have both agreed. Guests step on for a 26-second clip while the camera circles them. The platform does not spin. The wedding party does not run the queue. The booth is cordoned with stanchions so people stay at a safe distance from the arm. If a speech might overrun, say so and the start can sit a little later.
The room on a wedding day
The small platform is 1.5 m by 1.5 m and the large platform is 2.5 m by 2.5 m. The venue also needs a solid even floor, a power plug or other power source and about half a metre around the booth for the arm to rotate at a safe distance from guests who are not using the booth. V360 brings its own prop table. Wifi is not required. Footprint detail is in how much space a 360 video booth needs and the room check is in is my venue suitable for a 360 video booth.
Props, song and your names
The prop table carries a standard set of high-quality props plus wedding props such as bride hats, groom top hats, wedding glasses, microphones, tiaras and gold chains. Custom props for your own theme are £75 for 10 pieces on top of the standard props. Book them at least 4 months ahead. One song plays on every video. On Paper and Bronze packages V360 chooses an appropriate on-theme popular song. On Silver and Gold packages you choose the song and the 26-second section of it, plus a text or logo overlay on every video such as your names and wedding date. On Paper and Bronze you can add song choice or a text or logo overlay for £20 each with the Custom Music Overlay or the Custom Text or Logo Overlay. The detail is in personalising your 360 booth videos.
There is no age limit, so children can join in. A tall adult may need to hold a small child so both stay in frame. More is in can children use a 360 video booth.
Videos after the wedding
Guests can take their own clip from the sharing station before they go back to the party. About 12 hours after the booking ends the team emails a web gallery link with all the videos, so you can watch everyone's videos, download them individually and share the link. The same email includes a link to a shared Google Drive folder with all the videos uploaded so you can download them in bulk. Both stay available for six months and no USB is needed. Delivery is covered in how do we get our 360 booth videos. After the end time the team takes around 45 minutes to an hour to break down and leave.
