A 360 video booth works on New Year's Eve because every guest is already in the mood to celebrate and the props do the rest. A V360 Video Booth is staffed, so the host does not run it. Why it works on New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve is a long night with one big moment at the end. The hours before midnight need something to keep the room busy. The booth gives guests a reason to get up, grab a friend and do something together while the countdown gets closer.
It also gives the host a record of the night. Every clip goes into one gallery, so on New Year's Day you can watch the whole party back, including the moments you missed while you were topping up glasses.
New Year props
Every booking comes with a standard set of high-quality props plus New Year props:

The operator sets them out on V360's own prop table beside the booth, so you do not need to bring anything. Props held in the hands or worn from the waist up show best, because the camera frames the top half of the body. A handful of props thrown in the air gets its moment again in the slow-motion and reverse sections of the clip.
If your party has a theme of its own, the Bespoke Themed Prop Package adds 10 custom pieces for £75 on top of the standard props. It works with any package, either booth size and any event or party theme. There is no approval step: you give V360 the theme and a brief and V360 sources and chooses the pieces. Timing the booth around midnight
There are no extra charges for New Year's Eve. Packages run from one hour to four hours and the prices are the same as any other night. Bookings beyond four hours are priced as a custom quote. Most hosts want the booth running in the build-up to midnight, when the room is full and the energy is high. Tell the team what time guests arrive and when you want the booth to open and close. After your end time the team breaks down in around 45 minutes to an hour, so it does not get in the way of the party carrying on.
How the night runs
About a fortnight before the event the team contacts your venue to agree the space, so you do not have to chase it. On the day the operator or operators arrive one hour before your start time and set up discreetly. The booth is cordoned with stanchions so people stay at a safe distance from the camera arm.
When the booth opens, the operator guides each group onto the platform, positions them and positions the camera for every person. The ring lights and the room lighting keep everyone well framed and well lit. Guests are encouraged to dance, look for the camera and pose while the camera rotates around them. The platform does not spin and guests do not turn with the camera. Each clip is 26 seconds long and plays at normal speed, then in slow motion and then in reverse. When the rotation stops, guests are helped down and shown their video at the sharing station. After your end time the team takes around 45 minutes to an hour to break down. Small booth or large booth
- Small booth. A 1.5 m by 1.5 m platform for up to 2 people at a time, run by one operator.
- Large booth. A 2.5 m by 2.5 m platform for up to 4 people at a time, run by two operators because there are more people to manage.

For a house party or a smaller function room, the small booth fits a 1.5 m square. For a big venue party where friends want to step up in fours, the large booth comes with two operators to keep the queue moving.
Song and overlay
One song plays on every video from the booking. Song choice and a text or logo overlay are included with Silver and Gold, so on those packages you choose the song and the 26-second section of it you want. On Paper and Bronze V360 chooses an appropriate on-theme popular song. If you want your own song on Paper or Bronze, add the Custom Music Overlay for £20. Your videos after the party
Guests download their own clip at the video sharing station on the night by AirDrop, a QR code, SMS or email. Their phone is not used to record. About 12 hours after the booking ends you are emailed a web gallery of every video plus a shared Google Drive folder for a bulk download. Both stay available for six months and no USB is needed. Prices and travel
Small Paper is £175 for one hour and Large Paper is £225 for one hour, up to Gold at £425 small and £495 large for four hours. Bookings beyond four hours are priced as a custom quote.
