Every V360 Video Booth booking comes with a standard set of high-quality props plus themed props for the occasion. If your event has a theme of its own, 10 custom pieces are available for £75 with the Bespoke Themed Prop Package and the standard props for your event are still included. It is the way to make every clip look like your event and nobody else's.
Why props matter on a 360 video
A clip is 26 seconds long. It plays at normal speed, then in slow motion and then in reverse in a boomerang style. A hat thrown in the air or a pair of glasses pulled down at the camera gets its moment again in the slow-motion and reverse sections, so props give a clip something to happen.
Props also help guests who are not sure what to do. Picking something up from the table gives them a role and a reason to laugh before the camera starts to rotate. The operator encourages them to dance, look for the camera and pose.
The camera frames the top half of the body. Props held in the hands or worn from the waist up show best. Hats, glasses, headbands and microphones all work well. How the clip is framed is covered in how long a 360 booth video is and how much of you it shows.
What comes as standard
Every event gets the standard set of high-quality props plus event-specific themed props. The operator sets them out on V360's own prop table beside the booth, so the venue does not have to find a table and you do not have to bring anything.
- Weddings: bride hats, groom top hats, wedding glasses, microphones, tiaras and gold chains.
- Christmas parties: Santa hats, elf ears, Christmas glasses and Christmas ties.
- New Year and birthdays: themed headbands, glasses and celebratory props.
For most parties the standard and themed props are all you need.
When custom props make sense
Custom props are for events where the theme is the point. Two examples:
- A Lord of the Rings wedding. The couple wants guests to step onto the platform with props that match the film theme rather than standard wedding hats and glasses.
- A St Patrick's Day party. The whole room is dressed for the day and the props on the table match it.
The same idea works for any party built around a theme of its own. If the standard and themed props would not match your room, the custom upgrade closes the gap.
What the Bespoke Themed Prop Package costs
The Bespoke Themed Prop Package is £75 for 10 custom pieces. The standard props for your event are still included on top. It can be added to any package and either booth size for any event type or party theme. Add it to your booking or mention it when you enquire. It sits alongside your package, so you still choose the booth size and the hours as normal. Prices for the booth itself are in how much a 360 video booth costs to hire.
What to tell the team
There is no approval step. You give V360 the theme and a brief and V360 sources and chooses the props. The clearer the brief, the closer the props will be to what you have in mind. When you ask for custom props, send:
- the theme in a sentence, such as "Lord of the Rings wedding" or "St Patrick's Day party"
- any colours you want the props to match
- reference pictures or a mood board if you have one
- anything you definitely want on the table and anything you do not
V360 then sources and chooses the 10 pieces, so there is nothing for you to sign off. If you are also using a text or logo overlay, mention the wording or logo at the same time so the props and the overlay match.
How much notice to give
Book custom props at least 4 months before your event. That gives V360 plenty of time to source the right pieces for your theme. The easiest time to add them is when you book.
Props, song and overlay together
Props are one of three ways to personalise your videos. One song plays on every video from the booking. On Paper and Bronze packages V360 chooses an appropriate on-theme popular song. On Silver and Gold packages you choose the song and the 26-second section of it you want. Song choice and a text or logo overlay are included with Silver and Gold. On Paper and Bronze packages both are available as paid add-ons for £20 each: the Custom Music Overlay and the Custom Text or Logo Overlay. One song still plays across all the videos. For text, send the exact wording and spelling. For a logo, send a transparent PNG.

On the night
The operator sets out the props on the prop table when the booth is built, one hour before your start. Guests choose something as they step up, the operator positions them and the camera circles them. After the take they put the props back and go to the sharing station to download their clip.
