If you have searched for how much a 360 photo booth costs to hire, this is the answer. A 360 photo booth is the name many people use for the platform where a camera on an arm circles your guests. What it records is video, so the accurate name is a 360 video booth. V360 Video Booth hire starts at £175 for one hour with a staffed small booth and £225 for one hour with a staffed large booth.

The rest of this article uses the right name and sets out the real prices, what every booking includes and where travel is free.

What you are actually booking

A 360 video booth is a platform with a camera on a rotating arm. Guests step onto the platform and the platform does not spin. The camera rotates and circles them while it records. Every clip is 26 seconds long and plays at normal speed, then in slow motion and then in reverse in a boomerang style. The camera frames the top half of the body, so props held in the hands or worn from the waist up show well.

V360 Video Booth is a staffed service. You are not hiring a machine to set up and run yourself. An operator guides each group onto the platform, positions them, positions the camera, hypes them up and then shows them their video at the sharing station. More on the experience is in what is a 360 video booth.

V360 Video Booth prices

Package Hours Small booth Large booth
Paper 1 hour £175 £225
Bronze 2 hours £225 £295
Silver 3 hours £325 £395
Gold 4 hours £425 £495

Bookings beyond four hours are priced as a custom quote. Tell the team the hours you need when you enquire and they will price it for you. The live price guide is how much does a 360 video booth cost to hire and every package is on the packages page.

Two choices set the price. The first is the booth size. The second is the number of hours.

Small booth or large booth

  • Small booth. A 1.5 m by 1.5 m platform for up to 2 people at a time, run by one operator.
  • Large booth. A 2.5 m by 2.5 m platform for up to 4 people at a time, run by two operators because there are more people to manage.

Both booths need about half a metre around the platform so the arm can rotate safely. Wifi is not required. If the room can only give the smaller square, the small booth is the one that fits. Space is covered in how much space a 360 video booth needs.

What every booking includes

  • One operator on a small booth or two operators on a large booth
  • A call to your venue about a fortnight before to agree the space
  • Arrival one hour before your start time and a discreet setup

  • Stanchions that cordon the booth and ring lights used with the room lighting

  • A web gallery of every video plus a shared Google Drive folder, emailed about 12 hours after the booking ends and available for six months

What changes between packages

On Paper and Bronze packages V360 chooses an appropriate on-theme popular song for every video. On Silver and Gold packages you choose the song and the 26-second section of it you want. Silver and Gold also include a text or logo overlay on every video, such as your names and date or a company logo. Overlays are included with Silver and Gold. On Paper and Bronze packages both are available as paid add-ons for £20 each: the Custom Music Overlay and the Custom Text or Logo Overlay.

If your event has its own theme, custom props can be added for £75 with the Bespoke Themed Prop Package. The detail is in personalising your 360 booth videos.
